Integrative Medical Center For Animals

We've decided to "retire" back to the Pacific Northwest, which means we will be selling the veterinary practice.

We hired another doctor early in 2006, and I decreased my schedule to 3 days per week. Our gross has continued to increase - for three consectutive years we grossed over $300K, reaching $340 thousand last year. Our 2006 total is over $416 thousand.

We integrate all modalities of veterinary medicine, both in conventional (medicine and surgery) and alternative medicine. We refer to an outside facility for xrays, while having chiropractic and ultrasound provided in house. Please see our website, www.holisticanimalcare.com, for more details about what services we offer.

We are the main veterinary holistic practice on the southwest coast of Florida, from Tampa to Naples. We do have clients who travel from as far as Miami, Orlando and Tampa, although the majority of our clientele are local. There is no other established practice locally that provides integrative medicine and we enjoy the benefit of receiving referrals also from the conventional veterinarians in the area. We are also fortunate that this entire region in Florida is very holistic focused - pet owners seek holistic medicine both for themselves and their pets. We have always enjoyed a higher than average growth rate with little advertising, thanks to the referrals from satisfied clients. The practice is currently adding about 4 new clients per week.

We spend an hour in each appointment, seeing approximately 10-12 cleints daily between the two doctors. Our prices are competitive with local conventional vets.

We have a professional cost analysis and complete records from our accountant to share with interested parties. The sale price of $350,000 includes all client records, furnishings, inventory and equipment (except for personal items).

The staff is not aware that we are making contacts about selling the practice, so your discretion will be appreciated. All contact should be directed to our home, 941-927-3330, or to our email address, intvetmed@cs.com.
